Terms of Service – Can Man Solutions Bin-to-Curb Waste Management
Please read these terms carefully before using our service.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the bin-to-curb waste management services provided by Can Man Solutions Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") to residential and commercial clients ("client," "customer," or "you") in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. By subscribing to or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Overview
Can Man Solutions provides bin-to-curb waste management services for residential and commercial clients throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Our service involves the transport of your garbage, recycling, and/or compost bins from their designated storage location to the curb prior to your scheduled municipal waste collection, and the return of those bins to their storage area after collection is completed. By using our service, you agree to the following terms and conditions in their entirety.
2. Services Provided
We will transport your garbage, recycling, and/or compost bins from their designated storage location to the curb the evening before your scheduled municipal waste collection and return them to the designated area after collection is completed.
- Service is provided weekly unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Service days and times are based on municipal collection schedules and may vary.
- We do not guarantee exact service times, only that service will be performed within the applicable service window.
- Service begins on the date confirmed in your subscription confirmation email.
3. Service Area
Our service area includes most of Toronto and surrounding regions, including Peel, Halton, and York. This includes communities such as Toronto, East York, Scarborough, North York, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Markham, Newmarket, Aurora, Pickering, Ajax, Oshawa, Whitby, Mississauga, Brampton, Etobicoke, Georgetown, and Oakville.
Service availability is subject to route feasibility, distance, and operational capacity. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service outside our standard service areas at our sole discretion.
4. Subscription & Billing
- Our standard Starter subscription rate is $49.99/month (billed quarterly as $149.97 every 3 months) or $54.99/month (billed monthly) for up to 3 bins.
- The Premium Plan is $89.99/month (quarterly, $269.97 every 3 months) or $99.99/month (monthly) for up to 6 bins including driveways over 100 ft.
- Additional bins or special service requirements may incur additional fees as agreed in writing.
- All subscriptions are available on a month-to-month (28-day cycle) or quarterly basis with no long-term contract or commitment.
- Payments are due in advance via e-transfer to sales@canmansolutions.com or credit card through our online checkout system unless otherwise agreed.
- Clients may cancel their subscription at any time. No refunds are issued for partial months or quarters.
- Promo codes are applicable to quarterly plans only.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to the following responsibilities to ensure smooth service delivery:
- Ensure bins are accessible, unlocked, and safe to handle on service days.
- Maintain clear, unobstructed pathways to bins, including snow and ice removal during winter months.
- Notify us in advance of any changes to bin location or municipal collection schedules.
- Report service issues, missing bins, or missed collections within 24 hours via phone at (647) 328-1508 or email at sales@canmansolutions.com.
- Ensure any gates, locks, or access barriers are open or accessible on service days.
Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in skipped service without refund or credit.
6. Missed Service & Weather Policy
While we strive for reliable, consistent service every week, delays or cancellations may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather events, road closures, municipal service interruptions, blocked or unsafe access, or emergency conditions.
Clients will be notified when possible via email or phone. Make-up service may be provided at our discretion when conditions allow and when operationally feasible. Missed services caused by these circumstances do not qualify for refunds or credits.
In cases where severe weather is forecasted on or near a scheduled collection day, we reserve the right to place bins curbside up to 48 hours in advance. This proactive placement is considered a completed service for that scheduled week.
7. Liability
Can Man Solutions is not responsible for:
- Municipal collection delays, cancellations, or missed pickups by the city or regional municipality.
- The condition or placement of bins after municipal collection by city crews.
- Damage to bins caused by city equipment, third parties, animals, or weather events.
- Overflowing, overweight, or improperly packed bins that cannot be safely moved.
- Fines, tickets, or by-law violations issued by municipalities related to bin placement or timing.
Our liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the affected billing period.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate service at any time for reasons including but not limited to: non-payment or repeated late payment; unsafe conditions or repeated access issues; misuse or abuse of service; or operational infeasibility. Repeated missed access due to client-related conditions may result in permanent service cancellation without refund.
9. Privacy
Client information is used solely for service communication, scheduling, and billing purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share client data with third parties except where required by law. Please review our full Privacy Policy for complete details.
10. Bin Identification Stickers
Clients agree that Can Man Solutions may place a small company identification sticker on garbage, recycling, or organics bins at the service address. These stickers help our team identify the correct bins during service visits. They are for operational purposes only and should not be removed while service is active. Stickers will be removed upon request following service cancellation.
11. Updates to These Terms
These Terms may be updated occasionally to reflect changes in our services, pricing, or legal requirements. Continued use of the service after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
